Scottish International School celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The event was attended by students, teachers, and staff members.
The day began with the hoisting of the national flag by the esteemed chairman of the school Mr.Rajkumar Garg ji along with the Board of Directors, Principal Ma’am and Administrator Sir.
In the program, the school choir performed patriotic songs, filling the atmosphere with nationalistic fervor.
Students showcased their talent through dance performances on patriotic themes & delivered speeches on the significance of Independence Day and the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. A quiz competition was also organized, testing students’ knowledge about India’s history and freedom struggle.
The winners of the Drawing competition and other events were awarded the prize by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries.
Mr.Rajkumar Garg ji ,the guest of honor, emphasized the importance of independence and encouraged students to work towards a better future for India.
In her address, principal ma’am Ms.Ashu Tyagi stressed the need for students to respect and protect the nation’s freedom and sovereignty.
The Independence Day celebrations concluded with a sense of pride and responsibility towards the nation. The event inspired students to become responsible citizens and contribute to India’s growth and development.
