To ignite the festival spirit and to educate the students ; the cultural value, Ramleela was celebrated on 21 October ,2023 with all grandeur. The Board of Directors Scottish International School graced and blessed the children on the pious ocassion of Ramleela . Our mentor, The Principal of the school Mrs.Ashu Tyagi welcomed all the eminent guests and highlighted the school motto, “Grooming Future Leaders”. She emphasized that by organising such a beautiful event, the children will for sure learn the wisdom and moral values.

Children along with their teachers enacted various episodes of Ramayana on stage and showcased their acting, singing and dancing talent. Little ones came dressed up as Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughan, their wives, Vanar Sena, Ravana, Tadka, Hanuma and Ayodhyawasi. Children had been preparing for the celebration for a month. They made effigy of Ravana, face mask of Hanuman, bow and arrow and swords. They learnt a lot about Ramayana and enjoyed singing songs like “Ek the raja Ram Awadh ke”, Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, Mangal Bhavan a Mangal Hari and lots more. It really helped little ones to boost their confidence and provide them with immense joy and pleasure. They all learnt how Lord Rama got victory over evil i.e. Ravana. The show went spectacular with the constant guidance and support of all the esteemed teachers of Scottish International School.
