Scottish International School Shamli, celebrated Independence Day on its campus with great deal of patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. #Scottians seemed to be swayed away by multiple emotions of pride, hope, and joy. Keeping the spirit of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign alive, the national flag was proudly hoisted by the Chief Guest Mrs.Seema Nirwal (renowned academician) along with the Chairman Sir Sh.Rajkumar Garg ji ,Director Sir Sh.Rajeev Garg ji and School Administrator Sh.Pradeep Kumar Ji and Principal Ma’am Mrs.Ashu Tyagi Ji.
The stakeholders from the school NCC unit and musical band paid a floral tribute to their motherland as they marched with the tri-coloured flag. The students presented an array of speeches, poems, plays, patriotic songs, and solo performances to express their feelings and hopes for their country. All the students paid homage to the countless freedom fighters for their supreme sacrifice and displayed patriotic zeal. Tamanna of G-XI expressed her patriotic feelings through an overwhelming and thought-provoking speech ‘Success and Glory of Independent India’.
The Chief Guest appreciated the students for their patriotically charged enthusiasm. She reminded the audience of the bravery of the freedom fighters, who gave up their lives, happiness, and families for liberation of nation from the chains of bondage. Principal Ma’am urged the youngsters to keep their Indian roots strong. She emphasized the obligations and rights of each and every Indian citizen. The celebration concluded with National Anthem. This event was full of patriotism and enthusiasm that kindled a sense of love for the country.
