Nursery, UKG and LKG

In Primary classes, assessment is a continual process. We ensure that not a single sphere of child’ growing age is going unattended. The academic year is divided into two terms. The student’s performance is evaluated two times in a year on the basis of systematically designed worksheets, assignment sheets and different co-curricular activities for specific learning outcomes. It provides the maximum space for individual learning and remedial actions to be taken in the early years of the students. It is needed that student must be quite regular in completing class-work and home- work neatly and correctly.

CLASSES I – II

In the Primary classes, assessment is a continuous process. We ensure that every aspect of a child’s growing age is addressed. The academic year is divided into two terms. The student’s performance is evaluated twice in a term based on systematically designed worksheets, assignment sheets, and various co-curricular activities aimed at achieving specific learning outcomes. This approach allows maximum space for individual learning and facilitates early intervention for students. It is essential for students to be consistently diligent in completing classwork and homework accurately and neatly.

CLASSES III – VIII

Assessment and evaluations will be in accordance with CBSE guidelines for classes III to XII, which will be flexible, and amendments can be made as per any changes brought by CBSE.
Weightage: The academic session is divided into two terms, each comprising one Periodic Assessment (PA) and one Term Exam (Half-Yearly/Annual Exam). Both terms carry equal weightage

Grade IX

The examination pattern for Grade IX from the academic year 2022-23 onwards has been redesigned as per the revised assessment structure of CBSE for Grade X. This would prepare students to cover the whole syllabus of the academic year and face the challenge of Grade X Board examination, and would, thus ensure the ‘quality of education’. It is further bifurcated into two types of assessments:

(A). Scholastic Activities

Total: 100 Marks
Final Examination: 80 Marks	Internal Assessment: 20 Marks
School will conduct Grade IX Final Examinations for 80 Marks in each subject covering 100% of the syllabus of the subject of Grade IX only Marks & grades both will be awarded for individual subjects	Periodic Test: 10 Marks	Notebook Submission: 5 Marks	Subject Enrichment Activity: 5 Marks
	Periodic Assessment – 1 Periodic Assessment – 2	This will cover Regularity Assignment Completion Neatness & upkeep of notebook	Speaking & listening skills in Language Lab: Practical work in Science Lab: Practical work in Mathematics Map & project work in Social Science

(B). Co – Scholastic Activities

For the holistic development of the student, co-curricular activities & discipline (attendance, sincerity, behaviour, values) will be graded on a 5-point grading scale A to E. No up scaling of grades will be done. Regularity, sincere participation, output and teamwork will be the generic criteria for grading the co-scholastic activities. CBSE norms will be followed for promotion to grade X.

Grade X

The examination pattern from the academic year 2025-26 onwards has been conducted as per the remodeled assessment structure given by CBSE explained which is on the next page:
(A). Scholastic Activities

Total: 100 Marks

Pre – Board – 2 Examination in December
Pre – Board – 3 Examination in January

Grade XI

We have two semesters –

First semester consists of one cycle of first Periodic Assessment and Half Yearly Examination in August / September
Second semester consists of one cycle of second Periodic Assessment and Final Examination in February

A weightage of 25% is assigned to the Periodic Assessment and 75% to the Half Yearly & Annual Examination for generating the Semester report.
Promotion is based on the consolidated result of the two semesters:

30% of the Semester I Exams
70% of the Semester II Exams

Every student has to clear theory and practical separately as per CBSE norms. Final Examination will be based upon the entire syllabus.

Grade XII

We have two semesters:

1. First semester consists of one cycle of first Periodic Assessment and Half Yearly Examination in August / September
2. Second semester consists of three Pre Board Examinations:

Pre – Board – 1 Examination in November
Pre – Board – 2 Examination in December
Pre – Board – 3 Examination in January

CBSE norms will be followed for promotion to higher class.

Points to note:

		*The minimum required attendance of the students in the school is 75%.
		*No leave will be entertained during examination in any circumstances.
		*If ABSENCE DUE TO – PARTICIPATION IN SCHOOL SPORTS CONDUCTED BY THEDISTRICT / STATE in such special cases, Board marks will be given after the submission of the certificate.
		*We follow No Re Examination policy, hence the child whoever will miss any particular exam won’t be awarded any type of marks in that particular exam. The child will be marked absent.
		*In case of any medical issue, the student needs to present a Medical Certificate from a certified MBBS Doctor an application along with a medical certificate must be submitted within 2 days. Marking in such conditions will entirely be as per the jurisdiction of the examination department and school authorities. In case of repetition of such incidents, the school reserves the right to take an appropriate decision regarding the student at the end of the session including detention in the same class.
		*The school maintains the Sovereignty over rules and policies regarding examinations and no interventions of any stakeholders will be entertained in the official matters of the organization.
		*Decision of the Principal will be final & binding.
		*Fee Defaulters will not be liable for any prize or position.
		*No marks on the basis of class performance will be given.
